Regular litter picks are organised by our many groups around the City.

We update this page monthly so please watch this space!

Wednesday 3rd December from 11.00 am until 1.00 pm. 

The Wednesday Gang will be meeting at the New Wortley Community Centre, Tong Road, Leeds LS12 1LZ.

Saturday 6th December from 10.30 am until 11.30 am. 

Morley Community Clean Up will be holding an event meeting at Scatcherd Park (the Skate Park), Queensway, Morley, Leeds LS27 9LG. (First Saturday each month).

Sunday 7th December from 2.00 pm until 4.00 pm. 

Litter Free Gipton and Harehills are meeting on Strathmore Drive (the Foundry Drive end), Harehills, Leeds LS9 6AB. (First Sunday each month).

Sunday 7th December from 3.00 pm until 7.00 pm. 

Pudsey Christmas Lights Switch On. Litter Free Pudsey welcome anyone to come along and volunteers are being encouraged to grab a purple bag and help keep the place tidy.

Monday 8th December from 10.00 am until 11.30 am. 

The Friends of Roundhay Park are meeting in the Carriage House car park behind The Roundhay Fox, Princes Avenue, Leeds LS8 2EP. (CHANGE from the usual first Monday each month). They’ll be injecting a little Christmas spirit with mulled wine and a range of festive treats as a thank you for helping to keep the park smart and litter free during the year.

Sunday 14th December from 10.00 am. 

The Friends of Adel Woods are meeting at the Slabbering Baby entrance to the woods on Buckstone Road, Alwoodley, Leeds LS17 5HT. Parking will be available at the “sports pavilion” which can be accessed via King Lane and Crag Lane.

Sunday 14th December from 10.00 am. 

Litter Free Pudsey will be meeting in the car park where Herons Food, Dominos and Greggs are located - LS13 4JF. They will be litter picking Pudsey Road from

the Roundabout at Wickes to the junction of Tong Road.

Sunday 14th December from 1.00 pm until 2.30 pm. 

‘Better Beeston’ will be out on Lady Pit Lane (at the paved junction with Stratford Street), Leeds LS11 6AJ. (Second Sunday each month).

Wednesday 17th December from 11.00 am until 1.00 pm. 

The Wednesday Gang are meeting in the Premier Inn Car Park, City Gate, Wellington Street, Leeds LS3 1LW.

Saturday 20th December from 2.00 pm until 4.00 pm. 

Litter Free Gipton and Harehills are meeting at the Compton Centre, 322 Harehills Lane, Leeds LS9 7BG. (Third Saturday each month).

Sunday 21st December from 3.00 pm until 4.30 pm. 

‘Better Beeston’ will be meeting on Maud Avenue, Leeds LS11 7DN. (Third Sunday each month). Please note the earlier start time of 3.00 pm.

Saturday 27th December from 10.00 am until 12.00 noon. 

The Cross Green Crawlers are meeting outside St Hilda’s Church on Cross Green Lane, Leeds LS9 0DH. (Last Saturday each month).

Sunday 28th December from 3.00 pm. 

The Hunslet Lake litter picking group will be meeting on Arthington Avenue, Leeds LS10 2LU. (Last Sunday each month). Please note the earlier start time.

Spare litter grabbers and bags for both adults and children will be available to borrow if you don’t have your own - if possible please inform the event organiser in advance to make sure they bring extra equipment along with them.
