Regular litter picks are organised by our many groups around the city.

We update this page monthly so please watch this space!

Friday 4th July from 7.00 pm until 8.00 pm. The Oakwood Group will be meeting at the Oakwood Clock at the corner of Roundhay Road and Princes Avenue, Oakwood, Leeds LS8 2HU.

Saturday 5th July from 10.00 am. The Friends of Allerton Grange Fields are meeting on the field situated next to Allerton Grange School, Talbot Avenue, Leeds, LS17 6SF  and Moor Allerton Hall Primary School. Lidgett Lane, Leeds LS17 6QP. (First Saturday each month).

Saturday 5th July from 10.00 am. Morley Community Clean Up will be holding an event meeting at Scatcherd Park (the Skate Park), Queensway, Morley, Leeds LS27 9LG. (First Saturday each month).

Sunday 6th July from 10.00 am. Litter Free Pudsey are meeting in the Pudseyshire Town Centre at Pudsey House, Leeds LS28 7BE.

Sunday 6th July from 2.00 pm until 4.00 pm. Litter Free Gipton and Harehills are meeting on Strathmore Drive (the Foundry Drive end), Harehills, Leeds LS9 6AB. (First Sunday each month.)

Monday 7th July from 10.00 am until 11.30 am. The Friends of Roundhay Park are meeting in the Carriage House car park behind The Roundhay Fox, Princes Avenue, Roundhay, Leeds LS8 2EP. (First Monday each month.) The 7 cygnets on the Upper Lake are well worth a visit!

Wednesday 9th July from 11.00 am until 1.00 pm. The Wednesday Gang are meeting on Kentmere Gate, Leeds LS14 1DX to tackle this stretch of Wetherby Road.

Sunday 13th July from 10.00 am. Litter Free Pudsey are meeting at the New Pudsey Railway Station, Owlcotes Lane, New Pudsey LS28 6QG to tackle Dawsons Corner.

Sunday 13th July from 1.00 pm. ‘Better Beeston’ will be out on Lady Pit Lane (at the paved junction with Stratford Street), Leeds LS11 6AJ. (Link to map).

Wednesday 16th July from 11.00 am until 1.00 pm. The Wednesday Gang are meeting at the Hamara Centre, Tempest Road, Beeston Hill, Leeds LS11 6RD. This marks the end of the ’30 Day Challenge’.

Saturday 19th July from 2.00 pm until 4.00 pm. Litter Free Gipton and Harehills are meeting at the Compton Centre, 322 Harehills Lane, Leeds LS9 7BG. (Third Saturday each month).

Sunday 20th July from 4.00 pm. ‘Better Beeston’ will be meeting on Maud Avenue, Leeds LS11 7DN.

Wednesday 23rd July from 11.00 am until 1.00 pm. The Wednesday Gang are meeting at the lay-by before the bridge on Redcote Lane in Kirkstall, Leeds LS4 2AW. 

Saturday 26th July from 10.00 am until 12.00 noon. The Cross Green Crawlers are meeting outside St Hilda’s Church on Cross Green Lane, Leeds LS9 0DH. (Last Saturday each month).

Sunday 27th July from 4.00 pm. Beeston will be meeting on Arthington Avenue, Leeds LS10 2LU to litter pick around Hunslet Lake. (Last Sunday each month). 

Wednesday 30th July from 11.00 am until 1.00 pm. The Wednesday Gang are meeting on Roundhay Road in the Tesco car park, 361 Roundhay Road, Roundhay, Leeds LS8 4BU.

Please always remember to bring your own gloves and dress appropriately for the weather!  Spare litter grabbers and bags for both adults and children will be available  if you don’t have your own.
