Regular litter picks are organised by our many groups around the City.

We update this page monthly so please watch this space!

Saturday 4th April from 10.30 am until 11.30 am. Morley Community Clean Up will be meeting at Scatcherd Park (the Skate Park), Queensway, Morley, Leeds LS27 9LG. First Saturday each month.

Sunday 5th April. Litter Free Gipton and Harehills will NOT be meeting this week on Strathmore Drive as it’s Easter Sunday. Usually meet on the first Sunday each month.

Monday 6th April from 10.00 am until 11.30 am. The Friends of Roundhay Park are meeting in the Carriage House car park behind The Roundhay Fox, Princes Avenue, Leeds LS8 2EP. First Monday each month.

Tuesday 7th April from 10.00 am until 12.00 noon. The Friends of Beckett Street Cemetery will be holding their monthly working party meeting. They would welcome litter picking support on the surrounding roads around the Cemetery which could really do with some ‘TLC’. Please park in the Cemetery car park. First Tuesday each month.

Tuesday 7th April from 10.00 am until 12.00 noon. Litter picking in Kirkstall. Meeting in the Wildlife Garden by the bus stop on Morris Lane, Kirkstall, Leeds LS5 3JT. 

Tuesday 7th April from 6.00 pm until 7.30 pm. The Lovell Park Wombles are meeting outside the Jaf supermarket, 1 Lovell Park Gate, Leeds LS7 1DB. Spring clean-up around the Lovell Park Estate.

Wednesday 8th April from 11.00 am until 1.00 pm. The Wednesday Gang are meeting in the B&Q car park, Beeston Ring Road, Leeds LS11 OBD.

Thursday 9th April from 11.30 am until 1.00 pm. Burmantofts Litter Picking Group will be meeting at the Burmantofts Council Hub, Rigton Lawn, Burmantofts, Leeds LS9 7QA.

Sunday 12th April from 10.00 am until 12.00 noon. Litter Free Pudsey will be meeting at the Asda car park, behind the petrol station, at the Owlcotes Shopping Centre, Leeds LS28 6AR - tackling the slip road.

Sunday 12th April from 1.00 pm until 2.30 pm. ‘Better Beeston’ will be out on Lady Pit Lane (at the paved junction with Stratford Street), Leeds LS11 6AJ. Second Sunday each month.

Monday 13th April from 2.00 pm until 4.00 pm.  Litter picking in Kirkstall. Meeting in the Wildlife Garden by the bus stop on Morris Lane, Kirkstall, Leeds LS5 3JT.

Wednesday 15th April from 11.00 am until 1.00 pm. The Wednesday Gang will be meeting in Sheepscar with car parking arranged in the Porcelanosa car park, 24-26 Cross Stamford Street,Leeds LS7 1BA

Saturday 18th April from 11.00 am until 1.30 pm.  The Belle Isle Tenant Management Organisation (BITMO) will be meeting at Aberfield Gate, Belle Isle, Leeds LS10 3QH.  Third Saturday each month.

Saturday 18th April from 2.00 pm until 4.00 pm. Litter Free Gipton and Harehills are meeting at the Compton Centre, 322 Harehills Lane, Leeds LS9 7BG. Third Saturday each month.

Sunday 19th April from 10.00 am until 12.00 noon. The Friends of Adel Woods will be litter picking and working on Adel Moor. Meeting by the cricket pavilion, off Crag Lane (LS17 5PR) at 9.55 am.

Thursday 23 rd April from 2.00 pm until 4.00 pm.  Litter picking in Kirkstall. Meeting in the Wildlife Garden by the bus stop on Morris Lane, Kirkstall, Leeds LS5 3JT.

Saturday 25th April from 10.00 am until 12.00 noon. The Cross Green Crawlers are meeting outside St Hilda’s Church on Cross Green Lane, Leeds LS9 0DH. Last Saturday each month.

Sunday 26th April from 3.00 pm. The Hunslet Lake litter picking group will be meeting at the Arthington Stores on Arthington Avenue, Leeds LS10 2LU. Last Sunday each month.

Tuesday 28th April from 10.00 am until 12.00 noon.  Litter picking in Kirkstall. Meeting in the Wildlife Garden by the bus stop on Morris Lane, Kirkstall, Leeds LS5 3JT.

Spare litter grabbers and bags for both adults and children will be available to borrow if you don’t have your own - if possible please inform the event organiser in advance to make sure they bring extra equipment along with them.
