Regular litter picks are organised by our many groups around the City.

We update this page monthly so please watch this space!

Sunday 1st March from 10.00 am until 12.00 noon. Litter Free Pudsey will be litter picking around the Bawn Estate meeting at 59 Stonebridge Lane, Farnley, Leeds, LS12 5QG.

Sunday 1st March from 10.00 am.  The Friends of Wigton Moor Woods are meeting in the car park behind the High Ash's shops, off High Ash Drive, Leeds LS17 8RE.

Sunday 1st March from 2.00 pm until 4.00 pm. Litter Free Gipton and Harehills are meeting on Strathmore Drive (the Foundry Drive end), Harehills, Leeds LS9 6AB. First Sunday each month.

Sunday 1st March from 3.00 pm. The Hunslet Lake litter picking group will be meeting at the Arthington Stores on Arthington Avenue, Leeds LS10 2LU.

Monday 2nd March from 10.00 am until 11.30 am. The Friends of Roundhay Park are meeting in the Carriage House car park behind The Roundhay Fox, Princes Avenue, Leeds LS8 2EP. First Monday each month.

Tuesday 3rd March from 10.00 am until 12.00 noon. The Friends of Beckett Street Cemetery will be holding their monthly working party meeting. They would welcome litter picking support on the surrounding roads around the Cemetery which could really do with some TLC. Please park in the Cemetery car park. First Tuesday each month.

Wednesday 4th March from 11.00 am until 1.00 pm. The Wednesday Gang are meeting on Middleton Grove, Beeston, Leeds LS11 5DJ - in car park B at the John Charles Aquatic Centre.

Saturday 7th March from 10.30 am until 11.30 am. Morley Community Clean Up will be meeting at Scatcherd Park (the Skate Park), Queensway, Morley, Leeds LS27 9LG. First Saturday each month.

Sunday 8th March from 1.00 pm until 2.30 pm. ‘Better Beeston’ will be out on Lady Pit Lane (at the paved junction with Stratford Street), Leeds LS11 6AJ. Second Sunday each month.

Wednesday 11th March from 11.00 am until 1.00 pm. The Wednesday Gang are meeting on Canal Road, Armley (in the industrial car park LS12 2RF).

Thursday 12th March from 11.30 am until 1.00 pm. Burmantofts Litter Picking Group will be meeting at the Burmantofts Council Hub, Rigton Lawn, Burmantofts, Leeds LS9 7QA.

Sunday 15th March from 3.00 pm until 4.30 pm. ‘Better Beeston’ will be meeting on Maud Avenue, Leeds LS11 7DN. Third Sunday each month.

Wednesday 18th March from 11.00 am until 1.00 pm. The Wednesday Gang are meeting off Meanwood Road (Sheepscar Road end) in the small free car park on Oxford Road LS7 1PJ.

Saturday 21st March from 2.00 pm until 4.00 pm. Litter Free Gipton and Harehills are meeting at the Compton Centre, 322 Harehills Lane, Leeds LS9 7BG. Third Saturday each month.

Sunday 22nd March. The Outer West Community Committee are having a Community Cleanup across all 4 wards – Bramley & Stanningley, Calverley & Farsley, Farnley & Wortley and Pudsey. Further details to follow.

Monday 23rd March from 10.30 am until 12.00 noon. Barca Leeds are holding a Community Litter Pick on the Broadlea Estate in Bramley meeting at the Broadlea Centre on Broadlea Hill, Leeds LS13 2SN.

THIS WEEKEND IS LEEDS GOES PURPLE

Saturday 28th March from 10.00 am until 12.00 noon. The Cross Green Crawlers are meeting outside St Hilda’s Church on Cross Green Lane, Leeds LS9 0DH. Last Saturday each month.

Spare litter grabbers and bags for both adults and children will be available to borrow if you don’t have your own - if possible please inform the event organiser in advance to make sure they bring extra equipment along with them.
