Regular litter picks are organised by our many groups around the City.


We update this page monthly so please watch this space!

Monday 1st June from 10.00 am until 11.30 am. The Friends of Roundhay Park are meeting in the Carriage House car park behind The Roundhay Fox, Princes Avenue, Leeds LS8 2EP. First Monday each month.


Tuesday 2nd June from 10.00 am until 12.00 noon. The Friends of Beckett Street Cemetery will be holding their monthly working party meeting. They would welcome litter picking support on the surrounding roads around the Cemetery. Parking in the Cemetery car park. First Tuesday each month.


Wednesday 3rd June from 11.00 am until 1.00 pm. The Wednesday Gang are meeting at CottingleyHall. Parking on Cottingley Drive (by the play park and flats), Leeds LS11 0JP.


Saturday 6th June from 10.30 am until 11.30 am. Morley Community Clean Upwill be meeting at Scatcherd Park (the Skate Park), Queensway, Morley, Leeds LS27 9LG. First Saturday each month.


Sunday 7th June from 10.00 am until 12.00 noon. Litter Free Pudseywill be meeting in the Herons Food car park to tackle Pudsey Road from the Roundabout at Wickes to the junction of Tong Road. 


Sunday 7th June from 2.00 pm until 4.00 pm. Litter Free Gipton and Harehills are meeting on Strathmore Drive (the Foundry Drive end), Harehills, Leeds LS9 6AB. First Sunday each month.


Tuesday 9th June from 11.00 am until 1.00 pm. The University of Leeds are meeting at the statue of the Duke of Wellington, Woodhouse Moor, Leeds LS2 9LG. For further details and sign up - https://buytickets.at/thesustainabilityservice/1828151


Wednesday 10th June from 11.00 am until 1.00 pm. The Wednesday Gang will be meeting in Hunslet at the Tulip Retail Park, Leeds LS10  2BB (no restrictions on parking).


Sunday 14th June  from 1.00 pm until 2.30 pm. ‘Better Beeston’ will be out on Lady Pit Lane (at the paved junction with Stratford Street), Leeds LS11 6AJ. Second Sunday each month.


Wednesday 17th June from 11.00 am until 1.00 pm. The Wednesday Gangwill be meeting in Osmondthorpe on Wykebeck Ave, Leeds LS9 0JG


Saturday 20th June from 11.00 am until 1.00 pm. The Belle Isle Tenant Management Organisation (BITMO) will be meeting at Aberfield Gate, Belle Isle, Leeds LS10 3QH.


Saturday 20th June from 2.00 pm until 4.00 pm. Litter Free Gipton and Harehills are meeting at the Compton Centre, 322 Harehills Lane, Leeds LS9 7BG. Third Saturday each month.


Saturday 27th June from 10.00 am until 12.00 noon. The Cross Green Crawlers are meeting outside St Hilda’s Church on Cross Green Lane, Leeds LS9 0DH. Last Saturday each month.


Sunday 28th June from 3.00 pm. The Hunslet Lake litter picking group will be meeting at the Arthington Stores on Arthington Avenue, Leeds LS10 2LU. Last Sunday each month.

Litter Picks Calendar

Spare litter grabbers and bags for both adults and children will be available to borrow if you don’t have your own - if possible please inform the event organiser in advance to make sure they bring extra equipment along with them.

Please always remember to bring your own gloves and dress appropriately for the weather!
